Argentine Angel Cabrera will play South Africa''s Ernie Els in Sunday''s final of the HSBC World Match Play at Wentworth.

Cabrera booked his place with a 2&1 win over Hunter Mahan, while Els trailed Henrik Stenson by one hole after the morning round but recovered to win 3&2.

Six-time winner Els had five birdies in his afternoon round to reach the final.

US Open champion Cabrera shot 66 in the morning round to lead by three holes and was up by six strokes at one point before his American opponent rallied.
