Facebook Newsvine Reddit Instructor Adam Schriber and golf supernova Anthony Kim have been working together ever since Kim was a young junior in the Palm Springs, Calif. area. The two are very close. And neither is shy about letting the other know what’s on his mind. So when Schriber spoke with Kim Monday morning after the BMW Championship to offer a few pointed remarks about his play late Sunday, Kim told him to save it. Kim had just finished T-3 in the third FedExCup event and it had marked his seventh event in the last eight weeks. I need, Kim told Schriber, to get away from golf for a few days. Schriber backed off. He said he will likely get with Kim later this week and he will be with him next week at the Ryder Cup matches in Louisville. “He’s so pumped,” Schriber said. “And he’s been pumped. I think he’s the perfect match-play player. But I’m biased.” The 23-year-old Kim is a Ryder Cup rookie but he got everybody’s attention in the 2005 Walker Cup played at historic Chicago Golf Club in which the Americans edged the team from GB&I 12 ½ to 11 ½.
